Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, has made a dramatic return to social media after facing heavy criticism for an inappropriate joke on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent show. The YouTuber and motivational speaker, who had taken a month-long break from Instagram, resumed his podcast, The Ranveer Show, but not without drawing fresh attention.
Ranveer Allahbadia’s First Post After Hiatus
Breaking his silence, Ranveer shared a heartfelt post on Instagram featuring candid moments with his loved ones—including his grandmother, his pet dog, and his team. The caption read:
“Thank you to my loved ones ❤️. Thank you, universe 🙏. A new blessed chapter begins – Rebirth…”
While the post was meant to mark a fresh start, it didn’t take long for netizens to jump in with mixed reactions. Some fans welcomed his return, while others weren’t as forgiving.
Tanmay Bhat Takes a Dig at BeerBiceps
One reaction, in particular, stood out—comedian and former All India Bakchod (AIB) member Tanmay Bhat had his own way of welcoming Ranveer back. His sarcastic comment on the post instantly went viral.
Tanmay wrote:
“Missed you (not really).”
And that wasn’t all. He further joked about the picture of Ranveer with his pet dog, commenting:
“That dog doesn’t want to hug you, why you doing that?”
To top it off, Tanmay took another brutal swipe, saying:
“Nice of you to click a photo with the only subscribers you have left.”
His final punchline referenced the backlash surrounding Ranveer’s controversial comment:
“Like this comment if you want a B Praak podcast.”
B Praak Cancels Podcast With Ranveer
Tanmay’s comment wasn’t random—it was a direct jab at B Praak’s recent decision to cancel his appearance on The Ranveer Show. The singer distanced himself from Ranveer after the controversy erupted over the YouTuber’s inappropriate remarks on India’s Got Latent.
B Praak publicly condemned the comments, stating that he did not wish to be associated with content that promotes “pathetic thinking” and “offensive language”.
What Led to the Backlash?
Earlier this year, Ranveer Allahbadia, along with Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, and influencer Apoorva Makija, found themselves in hot water over an obscene joke during an episode of India’s Got Latent. The backlash was swift, leading to multiple FIRs being filed against them.
Ranveer responded by issuing a public apology:
“My comment wasn’t just inappropriate; it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry.”
He later submitted a written apology to the National Women’s Commission (NWC), hoping to put the matter to rest.
