On November 11th, 2024, Delhi witnessed an event that blended the magic of food, the energy of creators, and the pulse of technology — the first ever Swiggy CreatorCon 2024. Hosted by Swiggy, India’s favorite food delivery giant, the event was more than just a conference. It was a celebration, a showcase of culinary innovation, influencer culture, and a deep dive into the future of food-tech. Over 700 well-known food and lifestyle influencers, industry professionals, and culinary talents came together for this unique event, which was set against the landmark Mehrauli, close to Qutub Minar, to network, exchange ideas, and talk about the future of Indian food culture.

Kicking off the evening, Swiggy Food Marketplace CEO, Rohit Kapoor, shared his vision for how Swiggy is empowering food creators, chefs and brands in building a more connected and collaborative food community. He said “Everyone is a creator today. I am, my daughter is, you are. Creators in the food world are just a bit hatke though. They live to eat as much as they live to create. The Swiggy Creator Con gets our creator family together, helps them learn from each other, and express themselves. For me personally, it was fun to meet the extended fam, we’ll all grow together as a community and learn from this experience.”

The insightful panel discussion, Beyond the Plate – Interdependencies of the Modern Food Ecosystem, which included well-known figures like Farah Khan– Bollywood director and Choreographer who recently turned into a food content creator, Pooja Dhingra– founder of Le15 Patisserie and was also one of the judges in Masterchef India, Rocky Singh– food content creator and Karan Tanna– founder of Ghost kitchens india was the high point of Swiggy Creator Con. They sparked engaging discussions that connected with the audience by pooling their distinct viewpoints on the changing nexus of cuisine, culture, and digital influence.
Among other food, lifestyle and comic creators there were Mr Sabby Singh, Chetan Goel, Delhi Travel Blogger, Mister Tikku, Hardik Banga, Harsh Gujral, Rajat Sood, Sanat Chadha, Karan Kaushal and more.
Swiggy Creator Con 2024 was a celebration of music and laughter in addition to thought-provoking conversations. Hindi-Sufi artist Madhur Sharma captivated the audience, and the event’s enriching atmosphere was further enhanced by lively DJ sets and humorous crowd engagement activities.
