What happens when India’s most viral content creators, entertainers, and internet icons walk into a luxurious palace… only to find out that a few of them are secretly plotting against the rest? The Traitors, Prime Video’s bold new reality show, brings that thrilling scenario to life — and it’s hosted by none other than Karan Johar.
Following his successful stint on Bigg Boss OTT, Karan now steps into an even darker, twistier reality format. This isn’t your usual celebrity drama. It’s a psychological game of trust, betrayal, and mind games, featuring the very people we’re used to watching make us laugh, inspire us, or go viral.
The Game of Deception

The show starts with 20 contestants — a mix of India’s most followed YouTubers, influencers, and digital stars. But here’s the twist: some of them are secretly picked by Karan to be “Traitors.” Their goal is to eliminate the rest, known as “Faithfuls,” one by one… without revealing their identity.
Each day, the group teams up to complete challenges and grow the prize pot. By night, the Traitors quietly “murder” one Faithful. Tension peaks at the Round Table, where everyone debates, accuses, and votes to banish who they think is a Traitor. If they’re wrong, they’ve just helped the enemy.
In the end, if all Traitors are exposed, the Faithfuls split the prize. But if even one Traitor makes it to the finale, they take home everything.
