What profession were you in before you started creating content, and when did you decide to take the plunge?
I was a student pursuing business management and fashion design. I did an internship in a bag design company and ended it soon after to take the leap of faith and make fashion infotainment videos for a living.
When you started content creation, did you ever think you’d grow so much?
The fire inside me ignited when I saw a mutual friend pursuing content and making a name on the internet. It made me believe it was possible because I saw someone I knew do it, and it felt like, why can’t I?
Any tips for budding creators? How is it different now than it was when you first started?
Yes, it’s cluttered with the same kind of haul content as compared to what it was a few years back. It’s very difficult to create your brand identity and distinguish yourself from the crowd; only authenticity would help. So, to the budding creators, I would say experiment with different things and be open to trying new content formats, but don’t forget to reflect your identity in every piece of content for the long game!
Any crazy fan stories?
Once, my friend had a girl reach out to her and click a picture with her because she knew her as my friend in my YouTube vlogs and Instagram reels. So it was crazy to know someone coming up to her and clicking a picture with her because she’s my friend, even though I was not even present in the same situation.
Tell us about a brand you enjoyed creating content for.
I fully remember my experience of creating content for my first big brand deal with Shoppers Stop. I didn’t have a mic and probably not much sense of videography aesthetic, but we pulled it off nevertheless!
You can’t take long breaks from the internet, and no matter how you feel, you have to show up regularly. Do you sometimes feel under pressure to be consistent and post content regularly?
Sometimes, quantity kills quality and eventually becomes a creative block. Overconsumption of content and thinking of different things for the same topic over the years bring in some creative block where you exhaust your resources.
What was the defining moment for you?
I guess things like coming on national television, having my billboard, and getting the silver play button from YouTube are some of the few defining moments.
How is content creation different from other professions? What are the perks and challenges?
It is entrepreneurship. It builds many skills for real-world business that are different from a corporate job, not comparing it negatively. You learn networking, hiring & delegating, building a team, all aspects of content creation, sourcing and closing brand deals, collaborating and whatnot!
Tell us about the ups and downs you’ve experienced before you got this far.
I’ll tell you the same from the audience’s perspective. My ups and downs have been both about them. Ups have been due to the immense love people pour, whether online or when they meet you in real life. As for the downsides of being on the internet, you must accept the challenges. People form opinions about you in ways you must not have thought of; it’s easier for people to hate you and mess up with your mental health, not knowing the reaction it has on you.
Which is your most viral reel? How long did it take you to create it, and did you anticipate its success? Reel Link
My most viral reel is me talking about self-love and getting ready for a solo date for Valentine’s Day.

Who are your favourite content creators, and who do you wish to collaborate with?
I have a couple of creators. I quite love Safiya Nygaard from the US. Her content style is what I can binge on. I enjoy watching Mansi Ugale’s cinematic reels and wish to collaborate with her.
