What profession were you in before you started creating content, and when did you decide to take the plunge?
I started content creation because I used to love making content, and I did not want or know that I would become so important. Nowadays, people are making content with the perspective of getting famous, which shouldn’t be the case.
Any tips for budding creators? How is it different now than it was when you first started?
Nowadays, I see that people who get into content creation get depressed because they are not getting traction, so my tip for budding creators is to stay consistent.
How cluttered is your space and what do you do to stand out?
I do nothing special to stand out. I am very organic in front of the camera and my followers, and that is what I think makes me different from others.
Any crazy fan stories?
They get very emotional when they meet us, and even I get emotional seeing them because the love they showcase in that particular 5 to 10 minutes is just pure love.
Tell us about a brand you really enjoyed creating content for.
I love all the brands because every brand comes with a different mindset, and creating content for those brands and meeting them in the middle with your own creative mindset and their mindset is fun
You can’t take long breaks from the internet, and no matter how you feel, you have to show up regularly. Do you sometimes feel under pressure to be consistent and post content regularly?
This used to be the case earlier, but then, after a while, you come to terms with what you are doing, and if you enjoy something, I don’t think so, it becomes pressurising for you. Every day is a new day with a new goal of creating content and surfacing your audience with different kinds of content.
What was the defining moment for you?
The defining moment for me was being the only Indian content creator invited to Selena Gomez’s brand event.
How is content creation different from other professions? What are the perks and challenges?
In other professions, you have to cater to the person you are dealing with. While in content creation, it is the audience that you deal with, and you want to offer them the best you can.
Tell us about the ups and downs you’ve experienced before you got this far.
The ups and downs in a content creator’s life are mostly about competing with themselves because, on some days, you’re far excellent at what you think, while on some days, you hit a creator block, which is the most challenging time for a content creator.
Which is your most viral reel? How long did it take you to create it, and did you anticipate its success? Reel Link
I didn’t have a viral reel, but I did have a viral TikTok. It was a lip-sync video because I used to enjoy making those kinds of videos
Who are your favourite content creators, and who do you wish to collaborate with?
I was fortunate enough to meet most of the content creators I wanted to work with, and I have collaborated with them in the past. At the moment, I feel every creator should focus on working on themselves, which will indirectly take them to greater heights where the idols would want them to collaborate with them.
What’s next for you?
Next for me is my baby project, which I have been dreaming about for a long time. While you are reading this, I have proposed it to the audience. What is coming next is greater and much larger.
