What profession were you in before you started creating content, and when did you decide to take the plunge?
I was pursuing acting full-time and landing decent gigs, but I wasn’t getting the recognition I had hoped for. Around that time, I found myself inspired by international content creators, and I started making videos as a way to relieve stress, thinking it was just something people did when they were bored. Little did I know, content creation was an actual profession! Everything changed when I landed my first brand deal and realized this could be a real career path. That’s when I decided to take the plunge, recognizing that I could merge all my passions—comedy, beauty, fashion, K-pop, K-Dramas—into one creative outlet and connect with a global audience.
When you started content creation, did you ever think you’d grow so much?
Honestly, I had hopes but never imagined it would grow to this extent. I started creating content simply because I enjoyed it. Seeing the community grow and receiving so much love and support has been surreal and humbling
Any tips for budding creators? How is it different now than it was when you first started?
Stay authentic and be patient. Don’t get caught up in trends if they don’t resonate with your true self. Consistency is key, but quality matters even more. When I first started, there were fewer creators, and now it’s more competitive, but the opportunities are also bigger. It’s important to find your niche
How cluttered is your space and what do you do to stand out?
The beauty and fashion space is definitely crowded, but I focus on bringing my own personality and story into everything I do. Whether it’s adding a K-drama twist to my makeup looks or sharing my skincare journey with K-beauty products, I make sure each piece of content reflects my passions and individuality
Any crazy fan stories?
Once, a fan flew all the way from another country to attend an event I was part of! Meeting them in person and hearing how much my content had inspired them was heartwarming. It’s moments like these that remind me of the positive impact content can have and to stay grounded.
Tell us about a brand you really enjoyed creating content for.
One of my favorite brand deals was being flown out to New York for a Samsung x BTS collaboration. As a huge BTS fan, I was beyond excited and secretly hoping the members might make an appearance! Although they didn’t, the experience was still incredible. I felt a deep sense of accomplishment being the only Indian creator chosen to be part of such a prestigious collaboration..
You can’t take long breaks from the internet, and no matter how you feel, you have to show up regularly. Do you sometimes feel under pressure to be consistent and post content regularly?
Absolutely. There are days when you don’t feel like creating, but you know the algorithm waits for no one! It can be a challenge to stay inspired and consistent, but I remind myself of why I started. Taking small mental health breaks helps, and I try to maintain a healthy balance to avoid burnout
What was the defining moment for you?
There have been multiple defining moments in my journey, not just one. From working with my favorite luxury brands, to representing India at VidCon via Meta, and even being invited to Korea by iconic brands like Innisfree and Sulwhasoo—each milestone has been surreal. I’ve also had the honor of being part of major film projects like KGF 3 and the movie Circus with Ranveer Singh. Every time a new opportunity comes my way, it feels like another defining moment, pushing me further in this incredible journey. Each step is a reminder of how far I’ve come and how much more there is to explore.
How is content creation different from other professions? What are the perks and challenges?
Content creation gives you the freedom to be your own boss, which is amazing, but it also means you’re responsible for everything—from creativity to business strategy. The perk is that you get to connect with people worldwide and collaborate with brands you love. The challenge is staying consistent, staying relevant, and handling the pressure to always be “on.”
Tell us about the ups and downs you’ve experienced before you got this far.
The journey has been filled with highs and lows. There were times when content didn’t perform well despite all the effort, and moments of self-doubt crept in. But every setback pushed me to work harder and refine my content. The support from my followers has been a major motivator during tough times.
Which is your most viral reel ? How long did it take you to create it, and did you anticipate its success? Reel Link
My most viral reel is a comedy video titled When I Open My Mom’s Phone, which I created during the COVID lockdown. It unexpectedly blew up, garnering over 100 million views on YouTube and Instagram. I never imagined it would resonate with so many people! The entire process took me about two hours to film and another hour to edit, with a day or two spent brainstorming and refining the concept.
